The founder of OB2B Industrial Marketing & PR has over 30 years’ experience in business to business marketing, working globally with blue chip manufactures, independent distributors and consultants.
We have particular expertise in providing industrial marketing and press release writing and circulation to target trade media for engineering, manufacturing and technology products, especially polymers and additives, engineering plastics, composites, speciality chemicals, coatings and structural adhesives.
Nigel O’Dea BSc (Hons) DipM MCIM – Founder & Director
The founder of OB2B Industrial Marketing & PR is a highly experienced industrial marketer. He has over 27 years’ experience working both in the UK and Holland, doing a variety of international marketing and commercial management roles in a number of different industrial multinationals: Polypenco Ltd, DSM Engineering Plastics , GE Plastics BV and more recently in Composites with Scott Bader Ltd. Extensive global business experience, particularly in Europe. Having read Material Science at Brunel University, Nigel then went on to obtain a Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Diploma in Marketing, as well as doing a variety of corporate leadership development training courses, covering topics such as: finance, strategy, six sigma, distributor channel partners and international marketing.
Robert Winter BSc, MBA, CEng – Associate Director, Asia & Far East Business
A highly effective business consultant with a wide range of commercial, marketing and business development experience. He has an established network of associates across Asia which provides local marketing assistance such as: copy writing in local languages, branding, Asian language websites, intellectual property protection, PR and translations services. He is also able to provide route to market assistance in locating suitable agents and distributors. Robert has lived and worked in Asia for more than 16 years.
Jim Macinulty – Associate Creative Director
Over twenty years’ experience in industrial business to business graphic design for print and digital domains. Areas of expertise include: Design for print – Brochures, Annual Reports, Corporate Identity and Branding, Trade and Press Advertising Campaigns, Packaging and Illustration. Design for Electronic Media and the Digital Domain – Website design, Flash Animation, Digital PDF brochures for delivery via email and download from websites.
In recent years, Jim has invested in powerful 3D motion graphic software technology and developed new skills in 3D Motion Graphics and Animation. He is now able to create amazing animated 3D animated motion video presentations combining static graphics, animation, sound and video, which can be viewed on a pc, tablet, or smartphone.
David Jones – Associate Director, Website Design & Development
For many years, David has had a passion for web programming and graphic design, but he has a come from an engineering background, having studied materials engineering at university and worked for several years in R & D and engineering. Today he is well qualified in a variety of website code systems including: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (and jQuery), PHP, MySQL and WordPress. He uses Illustrator to create vector logos, Photoshop to manipulate graphics, and Fireworks to quickly design web page layouts.
David aims to cost effectively create easy to use, visually appealing websites of a high quality both in terms of look and functionality, with good SEO. Both website design and website hosting services are offered.
